Sylvia Hanover wears the Crown

As a racehorse Always B Miki won two Breeders Crowns as a racehorse. As a sire he is dominating them.

His latest winner is the star filly Sylvia Hanover who won the two year old Breeders Crown final at Woodbine Mohawk on Saturday night.

Driver Bob McClure got her into the clear at the top of the home straight and she did the rest.

Sylvia Hanover powered home to win by over a length over Charleston, with fellow Always B Miki filly Strong Poison finishing third.

For Sylvia Hanover it was her 8th win from 9 starts and has taken her earnings to $903,300.

That makes her the richest two year year old pacer in the world this season.

Always B Miki’s oldest progeny in North America are now four year olds and remarkably he has now sired four of a possible six Breeders Crown 2yo final winners since his progeny started racing!
