Son of Vincent wins NZ Sires Stakes heat

Sherlock proved too good for his rivals in a heat of the NZ Sires Stakes for two year old colts and geldings at Ashburton on Monday.

The son of Vincent worked early and then fought hard to the finish and hold off his stablemate With Style to claim his second consecutive victory.

Always blessed with immense talent, Sherlock is not starting to put it all together and you get the sense that there is still so much more improvement in him.

Bred by Spreydon Lodge Ltd, Sherlock is out of the American Ideal mare After Party and is raced by Jean Feiss.

Vincent has sired 11 first crop two year old winners across Australia and New Zealand, as well as four stakes horses including the Sapling Stakes winner Vinke B.

Vincent is available to breeders this season for $4,950 (incl GST) in Australia and $4,500 (plus GST) in New Zealand – multiple mare discounts are available.
