Sundees Son smashes the clock to make it back to back Dominions

Sundees Son was simply breathtaking when winning the Group 1 Dominion at Addington today.

In a sustained show of speed, the champion son of Majestic Son went to the front and never stopped running.

It was speed that we haven’t seen before in this part of the world.

He stopped the clock at 3:56.6 with only his stablemate Mataderos, who sat on his back, able to keep up.

His time was almost four seconds inside his previous New Zealand record!

Bred and raced by Colin and Nancy Hair, Sundees Son has now won 25 times and has earnings of $964,417.

Majestic Son continues to demonstrate his greatness as a stallion.
