A horse noted for his brilliant speed, Oscar Bonavena called on this trait to win the New Zealand Trotting Free For All at Addington.
He was driven to perfection by Mark Purdon and when presented with open racetrack at the top of the home straight the son of Majestic Son did the rest.
Sprinting home in 27 seconds, Oscar Bonavena won by one and a quarter lengths over Bolt For Brilliance and Majestic Man (Majestic Son).
Surprisingly this was a race which Majestic Son had not sired the winner of before.
Majestic Son continues to be the dominant siring force in the Southern Hemisphere.
