Expensive Ego explosive in Inter Dominion series

Expensive Ego has been nothing short of explosive during this Inter Dominion series.

The son of Rock N Roll Heaven was dominant on the opening night at Menangle and then last night smashed the track record at Bathurst!

After drawing the outside of the front line, Expensive Ego was three wide for the first 800 metres before powering to the front.

He sprinted home in 26.3 to stop the clock in 1:50.6 – well inside the previous track record!

Expensive Ego’s record improved to 20 wins from 28 starts and earnings of $668,617.

Bred by Doug Lyon, Expensive Ego is a half brother to Bodhi Tree $192,854 and Arts Treasure $152,542.

Rock N Roll Heaven currently sits fourth on the Australian Sires Premiership behind Bettors Delight, Art Major and Mach Three.
