Rock N Roll Doo made it back to back stakes wins when taking out the Group Two Kilmore Cup on Friday night.
After settling back in the field, Michael Stanley took the son of Rock N Roll Heaven on a three wide move to find the front mid race.
He ran through the third quarter in a brilliant 26.7 before sprinting home in 27.9 to win by over two lengths.
He signaled his special talents with a blistering win in the Group One VHRC Classic last start and now he has cemented his place amongst the very best pacers in Australia with this Kilmore Cup win.
Bred by Kelvin Home Holdings, Rock N Roll Doo is the sixth foal of the In The Pocket mare Long Live Lana and thus a half brother to Delightful Lana and Iolanta.
Rock N Roll Doo’s next start will come in the $300,000 Victoria Cup on October 8th.
Rock N Roll Heaven is available to breeders this season for $7,000 (incl GST) in Australia and $6,500 (plus GST) in New Zealand – multiple mare discounts available.
