Daughter of Always B Miki wins $525,000 Shes A Great Lady final

Sylvia Hanover stamped herself as one of the very best two year old fillies in North America with a comfortable win in the $525,000 Shes A Great Lady final at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday night.

After working her way to the front, the daughter of Always B Miki was never headed and ran out a third length winner.

It was her sixth win from seven starts and takes her earnings to $481,425.

Bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, Sylvia Hanover is the seventh foal of the Artiscape mare Shyaway. Her best foal was the brilliant performer Western Fame $2,002,788.

Offered at the 2021 Black Book yearling sale, she made $135,000 to the bid of Hudson Standardbred.

Always B Miki has now sired the past two winners of the Shes A Great Lady final after Nikki Hill was victorious last year.

Always B Miki is standing this season at a fee of $9,350 (incl GST) in Australia and $9,500 (plus GST) in New Zealand.
