Two dominant wins for Always B Miki

Impressive Always B Miki daughters Sylvia Hanover and Grace Hill produced two dominant performances at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Saturday night.

Sylvia Hanover showed that she is not only the best 3YO pacing filly in North America, but also one of the best in recent times with a three length win in the $420,000 Fan Hanover Stakes.

After withstanding the challenge of Twin B Joe Fresh, Sylvia Hanover exploded away from her rivals to win in 1:48.4 – a time that tied the track, stakes and Canadian record held by American Jewel.

It was the 11th win from 12 starts for Sylvia Hanover and took her earnings to $1,141,800.

Grace Hill must now be considered the best aged pacing mare in North America after she won the $305,000 Roses Are Red Final in a scintillating 1:47.8.

After moving to the front she never gave her rivals a chance and went on to win by over two lengths.

Her earnings now stand at $1,465,130 from 51 starts.

Always B Miki is now the sire of 5 millionaires from his first three crops which are 3yo+.
