Sylvia Hanover’s tremendous season was rewarded with her being named Two Year Old Pacing Filly of the Year.
Winning 8 of her 9 starts, the daughter of Always B Miki amassed $903,300 in earnings.
Her big wins came in the biggest races for two year old fillies – the Breeders Crown Final and the Shes A Great Lady.
Bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, Sylvia Hanover is out of the Artiscape mare Shyaway.
For Always B Miki this is his fourth Dan Patch Award winning two year old from just three crops.
He becomes the only pacing stallion in history to sire at least one Dan Patch Award winning two year old from his first three crops.
Always B Miki is standing this season at a fee of $9,350 (incl GST) in Australia and $9,500 (plus GST) in New Zealand.
