Always hitting the headlines again!

Always B Miki was mighty on the racetrack and he is having a mighty season as a stallion in the Southern Hemisphere.

He sired another five very impressive winners over the weekend headed by the Group 3 winner in NZ in Dalton Shard. This four year old gelding won the Maurice Holmes Vase at Addington on Friday night, which gave him an automatic entry ticket into the $1 million NZ Cup to be run on the second Tuesday of November.

This was his eighth win from just 36 career starts and advanced his earnings to $154,799. He is the seventh foal of the unraced Christian Cullen mare All The Glory, who in turn is a half sister to 7 winners including the Group 1 winning pacer New Age Man 1.56.1.

In recent years the Maurice Holmes Vase has been a good form tip leading into NZ’s most prestigious race with The Fixer in 2018 and Self Assured in 2020 taking out the double.

Always B Miki has never been shy of siring outstanding females and on the weekend shone with four of his impressive daughters winning on Metropolitan tracks around Australia.

Aardies Express is proving to be a beast of a mare with another demonstrative win at Menangle on Saturday night. Her last half in 52.8 says a lot about the amazing ability of this mare. Of course her career record of 26 starts, 18 wins and $422,684 suggests she is the Queen of Harness Racing in Australia at the moment.

Rattlin Lilly is another Miki sired mare who is building a nice record in WA. This five year old mare from a Bettors Delight mare has now won 8 races in the West and pocketed $82,533.
