Always B Miki sires Group 2 quinella

The great run of Always B Miki as a sire continued on Sunday when he sired the quinella in the Group 2 Diamond Creek Farm Classic.

You’re So Fine zoomed home to defeat a gallant Franco Indie and broke the previous New Zealand record for 2200 metres in the process!

Bred by the Jordash Breeding Trust, You’re So Fine is out of the Falcon Seelster mare Syriana.

He was a $14,000 purchase by trainer Brett Gray from the Ripple Creek consignment at the 2020 NZB Christchurch sale.

In other results over the weekend Always B Miki had some very good placegetters with Montana Glory finishing a tough third in the Group 1 NZ Sires Stakes 2YO Fillies Final and The Miki Taker a similarly tough second in the DeCampo Memorial at Bunbury.

In total Always B Miki is the sire of six stakes horses already in Australia and New Zealand.
