Always B Miki Shines in Sale Ring and on the Track

It was a weekend to remember for Always B Miki, as his influence was felt both in the sale ring and on the racetrack, reaffirming his status as one of the most sought-after sires in harness racing.

At the APG Perth Sale, Always B Miki’s offspring dominated the top sales, with four of his yearlings ranking among the top twelve highest-priced lots.

The standout moments came when the filly out of Double Expresso, consigned by Jemross Racing Trust, commanded an impressive $120,000, and the colt out of Topless Beach Girl, consigned by Copper Lodge, sold for $105,000.

On the racetrack, the success was just as pronounced.

Always Hot rounded out his NSW Derby preparation with an easy victory at Melton, further solidifying his status as a rising star. Despite a wide draw, he is currently odds on to claim victory in the Group 1 feature.

Other metropolitan winners across the weekend included Rubira, Dalton Shard, Hugo, Miki Magic, Paul Edward, and Quintessa, all showcasing the hallmark qualities of their sire.

The weekend was a resounding success for Always B Miki, a stallion whose influence on the sport continues to grow.
