Vincent on Fire as Stakes Winners Keep Rolling

Vincent’s outstanding run continued this past weekend with the stallion siring two more stakes winners, further underlining his remarkable form as the season reaches its peak.

In Western Australia, Princess Katie delivered a performance full of authority to claim the Group 3 Christmas Belles Pace, taking on and defeating some of the state’s best mares. Settling back in the field, she unleashed a powerful late surge to sweep past her rivals and score an impressive stakes victory.

Across the Tasman, Greased Lightnin was just as dominant when taking out the Listed Harness 5000 Pace for 3YO pacing colts. Winning in easy fashion, the talented colt added another black-type success to his résumé, having already secured the Listed NZ Sires Stakes Sophomore Classic earlier in the season.

These latest victories cap off an exceptional three-month stretch for Vincent, who has been in scintillating form as a sire of elite performers. Over that period, his progeny have collected a remarkable series of stakes wins at the highest levels:

  • Francent – Queen Of Hearts (Group 1)

  • Shezsofast – Caduceus Club Classic (Group 1)

  • Francent – Ladies Sprint (Group 2)

  • Francent – Spring Sprint Classic (Group 2)

  • Arrythmia – Vicbred 2YO Pacing Fillies Final (Group 2)

  • Arrythmia – Breeders Crown Pacing Fillies Final (Group 2)

  • Surfingmakescents – Ladyship Cup (Group 3)

  • Princess Katie – Christmas Belles Pace (Group 3)

  • Greased Lightnin – Harness 5000 3YO Pacing Colts (Listed)

  • Greased Lightnin – NZ Sires Stakes Sophomore Classic (Listed)

With stakes success spread across age groups and both sides of the Tasman, Vincent’s recent results paint a clear picture of a stallion operating at the very top of his game. His ability to sire horses capable of excelling in elite company continues to strengthen his standing.
