Taking The Miki wins Group 3 WASBA Breeders Stakes

Taking The Miki added to her already glittering resume with an all the way win in the Group 3 WASBA Breeders Stakes.

The 4YO daughter of Always B Miki was initially crossed but quickly retook the lead and from there she was never headed.

Driver Chris Voak broke the field open with a 27.6 third quarter and jetted away to win 5.1 metres.

The win was Taking The Miki’s tenth and fourth at stakes level. Remarkably she has won or placed in eleven stakes races – a third of her total starts!

Bred by Patrician Park, Taking The Miki is out of the Bettor’s Delight mare All American Dream.

Always B Miki has shown an affinity for Cam Fella line mares. Horses bred on this cross include dual Breeders Crown winner Perfect Sting, superstar mare Niki Hill, millionaire Southwind Gentry and the leading New Zealand two year old Cold Chisel.
