Vincent sired the highest price yearling by a first season sire at the Melbourne APG yearling sale yesterday.
Offered for sale by DNR Properties Pty Ltd, the superb colt sold for $58,000 to Nathan Purdon.
The colt was well related being out of De Lovely Rose, a Bettor’s Delight daughter of De Lovely.
He was a great example of the stock of Vincent being strong, sensible and correct.
Vincent also had another good sale with a filly out of Bonton Lady, offered by Garry and Melva Graham, selling for $25,000.
There are still plenty of opportunities to secure a Vincent with some outstanding yearlings being sold at the NZB Auckland, NZB Christchurch, APG Perth, APG Sydney and Nutrien Equine yearling sales.
