Rock N Roll Doo enhanced his already lofty reputation with a dominant win in the Group 1 Victoria Cup.
It was his third win stakes success in succession.
The son of Rock N Roll Heaven faced the breeze for the majority of the race and when trainer/driver Mick Stanley asked for the supreme effort, he delivered.
Powering home in 26.8, Rock N Roll Doo won by over 3.1 metres over Honalua Bay, with a further 1.5 metres back to Bettors Eclipse.
Rock N Roll Doo has taken his career to another level in the past four weeks with wins in the Group 1 Caduceus Classic, Group 2 Kilmore Cup and now the Group 1 Victoria Cup.
Bred by Kelvin Holme Holdings, he is out of the In The Pocket mare Long Live Lana and was a $14,000 purchase at the NZB Standardbred National Yearling Sale by owner Brendan James.
Rock N Roll Heaven continues to sire top level winners and Rock N Roll Doo is the latest.
He stands at Alabar for a service fee of $7,000 (incl GST) in Australia and $6,500 (plus GST) in NZ.
HE’S A ROCK STAR!
