Rock N Roll Doo produced an outstanding performance to win the Group 1 Len Smith Mile at Menangle.
Caught wide early, before finding the breeze, the son of Rock N Roll Heaven refused to lay down and dug deep to win by a short half head over Spirit Of St Louis in 1:51.1.
His return to the winners circle is a real credit to trainer Michael Stanley, who has him back to his absolute best.
Rock N Roll Doo has now won 13 times for earnings of $519,125.
Rock N Roll Heaven remains arguably the best value sire in the Southern Hemisphere. He is a perennial Top 5 stallion in Australia who continues to sire elite racehorses like Rock N Roll Doo.
He will stand the 2023/24 season for a fee of $7,000 (incl GST) in Australia and $6,500 (plus GST) in New Zealand.
