Plymouth Chubb too good in Tatlow
Plymouth Chubb showed why he is the best two year old trotter in Australia with a very impressive win in the Group 2 Tatlow Stakes.
After beginning from the outside of the back line, the son of Majestic Son settled midfield.
Driver Kerryn Manning took him three wide with a lap to go and he did the rest. Sprinting home in 28.7 and 29.6, he ran away from his rivals to win by 8 metres.
Bred and raced by Gary Benson and Steven Hegyi, Plymouth Chubb is out of the In The Pocket mare Pocket Fantasy.
He has now had 9 starts for 8 wins and earnings of $74,030.
Majestic Son is available to breeders in Australia for $5,500 (incl GST) and $5,000 (plus GST) in New Zealand.
