Undefeated and undeniably exciting, Miki’s Deal stamped herself as one of the brightest rising stars in harness racing with a powerful victory in the Group 2 Bionic Chance Bracelet at Addington last Friday.
The 2-year-old filly, a daughter of Always B Miki, remains unbeaten in two starts — both at Group 2 level — after backing up her debut triumph in the Entain 2YO Southern Classic with another commanding performance.
Despite having to do her share of work in the running, Miki’s Deal showed grit and class, surging to the lead and holding off her rivals with authority to win by 1.5 lengths. The performance left no doubt about her talent and temperament under pressure.
Bred by Marty Fairbairn, Miki’s Deal is out of the Bettor’s Delight mare Delightful Deal.
With her unbeaten record intact and two black-type wins already on her résumé, Miki’s Deal is quickly emerging as a serious force in the juvenile ranks — and a name to watch as the season unfolds.
