Major Perry (Art Major) enhanced his record with a win in a New Zealand Sires Stakes heat at Alexandra Park on Thursday night.
Showing great gate speed he worked to the lead, before handing up to Montana D J.
He then produced a stunning sprint to finish off best and win in 1:55.9.
Major Perry is the second foal of the star Bettor’s Delight mare Katy Perry.
Art Major over Bettor’s Delight mares has produced multiple Group 1 winners including the millionaire mare Our Princess Tiffany.
