For the second week in a row the progeny of Lazarus took over the Meadowlands in the legs of the New Jersey Sires Stakes for three year old pacers.
Voukefalas, Two Pistol Annie and Alexa’s Fantasy were all successful.
Voukefalas was the most impressive winner of the three, winning in 1:50.
Taking the lead past at the half, the Michael Russo trained pacer cruised home in 27.3 and 27 to win by over a length.
Lazarus was a champion on the track and now he is showing he can do it as a sire as well. Last season he finished second on the First Season Sires Premiership in the US and now those two year olds have come back better than ever.
