Cold Chisel led an Always B Miki metropolitan meeting treble across Australia and New Zealand last night.
The Barry Purdon trained pacer took out the Group 2 Alabar Classic over his rival Chase A Dream at Alexandra Park.
Cold Chisel led early, handed up mid race and then shot home strongly to win.
The three year old, who was a $100,000 yearling, has now won $231,013 from 10 starts.
Cold Chisel was bred by Mark and Pauline O’Connor and is out of the Presidential Ball mare Shezaball.
At Gloucester Park on the same night, Always B Miki sired a double courtesy of The Miki Taker and Miki Jet.
The Miki Taker produced an astonishingly tough performance to win, while Miki Jet has now won three of his past four starts.
