Always B Miki sires quinella in NZ Sires Stakes heat

Always B Miki sired his first New Zealand winner last night and did so in exciting fashion.

His daughters Montana Glory and Miki Montana provided the quinella in a heat of the NZ Sires Stakes.

Montana Glory produced a scintillating sprint to come from last at the 200 metre mark and win in a brilliant 1:55.5.

While Miki Montana did it tough after making a mid race move to sit in the breeze.

Both fillies are raced by Montana Park and were purchased from the Alabar draft at the Auckland All Age sale as weanlings.

Montana Glory is out of the Mach Three mare Pacific Glory and was bred by Graeme, Ethan and Tate Henley.
