The 2024 Nutrien Sunshine Stars yearling sale was held on Sunday and Alabar stallions were represented by 4 of the top 6 highest priced lots.
Always B Miki had a great sale siring both the highest priced colt and highest priced filly!
Both yearlings were offered by Solid Earth Pty Ltd and both were purchased by Summit Bloodstock.
The Captain Crunch filly out of Ourark was the third highest priced filly of the sale selling for $62,500 to GSM Racing.
She was offered by Rickie Alchin.
While The Storm Inside joined in with a colt of Burwood Stud’s out of Annika Magic selling for $42,000 to Michael Boots.
A great return off a $2,500 (incl GST) service fee.
Amongst the trotters perennial leading stallion Majestic Son sired the equal top priced lot. GSM Racing offered a colt out of Ultimate Daquiri which made $35,000 to the bid of Denis Grieve.
Overall the sale averaged a healthy $27,744 at a clearance rate of 62.9%.
