Be Happy Mach was a spectacular two year old winning multiple Group One races on his way to being named Australian Two Tear Old of the Year.

In his sensational debut season he won 10 of his 11 starts and accumulated $344,215 in earnings. That total makes him the highest ever earning two year old sired by his illustrious sire, Mach Three, in the Southern Hemisphere.

He raced in three states and won multiple Group One events – the $125,000 NSW Breeders Challenge Final and the $300,000 Australasian Breeders Crown Final.

Leading trainer Emma Stewart is effusive in her praise for Be Happy Mach, “He was an exceptionally talented two year old who showed ability from day one.”

“We love the Mach Three’s and Be Happy Mach is a great example of what they can do.”

“He showed toughness to win the NSW Breeders Challenge from the breeze, while in the Breeders Crown final he just blew them away with his speed.”

“He is definitely one of the best two year olds we’ve trained.”

  • Australian Two Year Old Pacing Colt of the Year – the best two year old colt of his generation.
  • The highest earning two year old ever sired by Mach Three in the Southern Hemisphere
  • Superbly bred – one of three stakes winners from his dam
  • Stunning physical specimen
Be Happy Mach will be serving his debut stud season in 2021/22.

Be Happy Mach is an excellent example of the progeny of Mach Three. He showed great precocity to be named Australian Two Year Old Pacing Colt of the Year and is a magnificent individual.

We believe Be Happy Mach will suit the same type of mares which generally suit Mach Three – they predominately being the Falcon Seelster, Cam Fella, No Nukes and Albatross line mares.

Falcon Seelster line stallions include Falcon Seelster himself of course but also McArdle, Tintin In America and Rich And Spoilt.

Cam Fella line stallions include include Bettor’s Delight, Fake Left, Armbro Operative, Presidential Ball, Precious Bunny, Four Starzzz Shark, Blissfull Hall, Pacific Fella, etc.

Any Cam Fella line mare will produce a duplication of Cam Fella in the middle of the pedigree given Be Happy Mach is out of a Washington VC mare.

No Nukes line stallions include American Ideal, Rock N Roll Heaven, Rocknroll Hanover, Village Jasper, Live Or Die, Western Terror, Jeremes Jet, Caprock, Badlands Hanover, etc.

Albatross line stallions include Holmes Hanover, Sokys Atom and Vance Hanover. Also look for mares that contain those stallions maternally.

Without doubt Abercrombie line mares must also be considered for Be Happy Mach. Son’s of Mach Three (like Somebeachsomewhere) have crossed very well with these sirelines.
Alabar is excited to announce that Be Happy Mach will be available to Australian breeders this season.
